This Halloween, join the Historic Hernando Preservation Society for our 2nd Annual Haunted Hernando History Tour. On this one-hour walking tour, we'll reveal the real-life crimes tied to downtown Brooksville locations, from chilling murders to destructive arsons and scandalous bootlegging.
Drawing from historical research, our guides will tell the true stories of those who lived—and sometimes died tragically—in Hernando County's tumultuous past. While some victims received timely justice, and other still wait for it, and sharing their stories keeps their memories alive.
